DESCRIPTION:Dear Ryan Program Community\, \nWe’re looking forward to seeing many of you at the Society of Family Planning Annual Meeting this October! \nBefore the conference begins\, we invite you to join us for the Ryan Program Community Meeting\, Advancing Abortion Care: Counseling\, Collaborative Problem-Solving\, and Simulation\, on Friday\, October 16\, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at San Francisco General Hospital. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. \nThe day will feature three interactive sessions: \n\nCounseling in Abortion Care: Alissa Perrucci (UCSF) will share her approach and framework for abortion counseling.\nCollaborative Problem-Solving: We’ll work through real-world challenges submitted by Ryan Program sites. If you’d like to contribute a case for discussion\, please include it when you register. We will select two cases for group discussion and collaborative brainstorming.\nSimulation: Participate in a hands-on ultrasound-guided D&E simulation developed by the Ryan Program Abortion Simulation Workgroup.\n\nRegistration closed August 30. We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco! \nFor questions about this meeting\, contact Emily Claymore
